USB / RS485 Converter

HD67119 - USB / RS485 Converter.
This converter is a cost-effective device for transferring serial RS485 data over USB.

Connected to a USB port on a computer or USB hub, it instantly adds an RS485 communication port to the system. By plugging the device into the USB port, it is automatically detected and installed, without IRQ, DMA or memory conflicts.

HD67119 provides instant connectivity to RS485 communication devices for factory automation, multi-drop data collection devices, barcode readers, time clocks, scales, data entry terminals and long-distance serial communication.

It uses Send Data control with automatic baud-rate adjustment and supports high-speed transmission up to 115.2 Kb/s on the RS485 line.

The USB / RS485 port is optically isolated with 2000 V isolation, protecting the PC or notebook from spikes and surges on the RS485 network.
