The HD67118 have an internal microprocessor for queue data control.
Is suitable for supervision software SCADA/HMI and the connection to a personal computer.

The RS232 to RS485 port is optically isolated with 2000 volt DC optical isolation.
The optical isolation protects the PC or notebook from spikes and surges on the RS485 network.
