The Programmable Unit from ADFweb.com, based on a Linux system, provides a secure and isolated development environment through the use of a protected container.
Inside it is possible to create custom applications in various programming languages, including Python, C, C++, and C#, without direct access to the hardware or the main operating system.
The hardware is available in different configurations, with Ethernet, LTE, serial ports, and other options depending on the order code.
Additionally, it is possible to have versions with hardware and/or software expansions, useful for using ADFweb.com buses and protocols, configurable via dedicated software and accessible to the container through virtual files.
The Programmable Unit can be paired with cloud services such as:
- VPN Connection
- Datalogging
- Remote Software Updates
The management of these services is fully autonomous via the corporate Portal, which allows devices and configurations to be administered easily and centrally by you and/or your customers.
